Welcome to our cottage in lovely Härjedalen, the cabin is located 25 km north-east of Funäsdalen. It is located between Mittådalen and Messlingen just below Flatruet, where Sweden's highest-lying country road runs. The cottage was named Casa Mosquito when it was first painted in the summer of 1992, in view of all mosquitoes that stuck in the color.
Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the mountain summer and winter. If you like different outdoor activities, there are several different possibilities nearby.
Winter / Spring
If you like downhill skiing without busy slopes, we can recommend Kappruet which is only 3 km from the cottage. There they have also a prepared length trail. A larger long-range system is found in Messlingen 9km from the cottage. The area where the cottage is located also has a smaller trail that runs up to the Flatruet.
Then there are the major ski areas Funäsdalsberget, Ramundberget, Bruksvallarna and Tänndalen within 20-40 minutes drive.
Summer autumn
The cottage is near to fantastic hiking tours, both long and short. The most famous are Flatruet, Helags mountain station, Eva graven, Anådalen, Mittåkläppen. Also a number of marked mtb leads nearby. Many nice fishing opportunities in the area.

Cottage
The property consists of two log houses, the main house was built in 1992 and smaller was built in 2006. The cottage is more than 100 sqm with ceiling. The cottage is well equipped, full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, wifi, mini sauna. In the smaller cottage can you use the living room with sofa bed as an extra bedroom.

Calender and booking
In the calendar you will see the days and weeks when the cottage is booked. Changeover day for weekly bookings is Saturdays. Cleaning is not included in the price. Cleaning, bed linen and towels can be ordered at time of booking.
Fur animals or smoking are not allowed.
